Chapter 3: The Pilgrims
Then the Pilgrims came. They came in the boat "Mayflower" and they landed on Plymouth Rock. They were from England and they came to America because they weren't allowed to practice their religion in England. England is bad. It was very tough and cold in the New World. The Indians were very good at finding and growing food. So the Pilgrims made it, and to say thank you, they invited the Indians to their Thanksgiving dinner. Thanksgiving is a very old holiday where you get around with your family and eat turkey. It's been around since near the time of Christ. Anyone who doesn't celebrate Thanksgiving is evil or dumb. If they're dumb, you should try to help them. So the Pilgrims lived and flourished and the Indians went away. After a while, the Thirteen Colonies were formed.
