I am truly discusted by the control the corporate media has in this country. I have lived here for 20 years but am now thinking of going home. I am saddened ny the slogan of change these presidential candidates spout. If we really wanted change then what happenned to Kusinich or Paul? Maybe one of the the few politicians to speak the truth. The people support them but our propaganda machine the US news continues to tell lies. Same old stuff same old thing. I only home when grandpa McCain gets elected he will give you more than $800 dollars because by that time it should buy you a case of dogfood to eat.

Please check out Ron Paul. He has been strongly blocked from the mass media. He has ideas that they don’t like and they block him out. Please, I urge each and everyone of you to check this candidate out, and endorse him as much as possible.

Lack of empathy is THE dominant trait of existing power structures. The question you should be asking is why is there a disconnect among segments of the American population, not whether empathy is a dominant trait, something that can't be measured in a fragmented population like the U.S.

Apparently, empathy cannot be taught. I have been asking my fellow citizens for years why it is ok for the U.S. to do things in other countries that would geometrically increase the membership of the Michigan Militia if those countries had done it to us: Shock and Awe, invasion, torture, etc. etc. Lack of empathy is THE dominant American trait.

I have been recommending your blog (and show) to everyone since those bleak days when I lived in the firetrap of So. Cal. Nice to be here in the midwest now, which, thanks to global warming, will be experiencing that moderate LA climate of say, 30 years ago, from now until we burn the atmosphere off the planet. Hope I’m not being a ‘Debbie Downer’.
