Auto Chronicles (Update)
My stolen car was recovered, taken to a repair shop, and fixed mostly on my insurance company’s dime. Allegedly a separate company will install a spiffy new stereo this week.
And as a mind-blowing extra, the auto mechanics cleaned my car!!! 99% of the time the inside of my car looks like a cross between a five-year old’s closet and the contents of a trash bag. Now, it is utterly empty, and vacuumed. Thank you, hard-workin’ auto mechanics.
Moral of the story: Please leave me alone, car thieves.

Alternatively, get your car stolen once a month and your insurer will keep it clean for you. Sweet.
