you can download the comics as a torrent file (for the bitTorrent file sharing program)at http://thepiratebay.org/details.php?id=3418733
you'll need a program called CDisplay to read the files, available at http://www.geocities.com/davidayton/CDisplay

I saw the movie the day it came out, and it was quite good, even inspiring. I have since discovered aforanarchy.org and their flyers on the movie are a good gift for moviegoers to leave behind in the theater. I also strongly recommend the comics, which can be found as a torrent file (for the file-sharing program bitTorrent) at http://thepiratebay.org/details.php?id=3418733. You will need a program called cDislay to read the files (available at http://www.geocities.com/davidayton/CDisplay). The comics, and their author are explicitly anarchist, while unfortunately the movie only seems anarchist to those who already are, to the rest it may be just anohter macho dick-waving action flick.

I saw it. It wasn't as good as the book, but it was a hell of a lot better than the Matrix sequels.

I'm damning with faint praise. Let me start over: it was a hell of a lot better than the movie version of "From Hell".

Shit, did it again.

Okay, it was a good movie with some adaptation choices I didn't agree with, but some key scenes are done so right it hurt, and I'm still thinking about the movie a week and a half later, which I can't say for more than three or four movies I've seen in the last two years.

There ya go.

[...] So back in july I posted Steampuink Anglo Warrior, 1990, and I mentioned V for Vendetta, getting lots of press for being a rabble rousing movie. I was perusing my giant list-o-feeds from the San Diego Bloggers site which pointed me to this post and which in turn pointed me to this Interview with Alan Moore. It’s coming out tomorrow, and Monday is my birthday, so I think my birthday gift to myself is to see it this weekend. [...]
