					<description>I went to NCOR this year. It was fun, I drove down with a bunch of strangers, slept in a church, and bumped into some old friends. Oh and the workshops were great - too many great-sounding ones for one weekend, in fact.

Regarding the USAS conference, that's kinda interesting - because that's one of the arguments that the "pro-sweatshops" (for lack of anything better to call them) people consistently bring up: Sure, they have shitty jobs. But at least they *have* jobs. It's a bit depressing to see that those folks are kinda right.</description>
