I don't think it's really fair to cross the great from the intro to the state of Texas. I live here, it's a nice place full of caring wonderful people. Yes, we have a political issues here. All states have a political issue either republican or democrat. Perry is not the best governor in the world, far from it. But other states that have more "progressive policies" have as much corrupt, thoughtless individuals as well. I will refrain from saying anything about Arizona however, as I see Mr. McCain as one of very few real politicians that are genuine. Texas has Big Oil pushing it agenda, California have the Far left wing pushing theirs, Georgia, Mississippi, Alabama have their 'Deep Southern Roots' to contend with. Louisiana has its corruption. Massachusettes enjoy's employing Senators that drown people and like to party. IMO, the political machine in this country is broken. Either Left, Right, Center it's all the same. A very small group of extremely wealthy people running their own little bank account while crapping on the average man. I think McCain would make a good president, he just feels genuine. Leberman<sorry sp> is corrupt, bush is corrupt, Mr. Swift Boat is corrupt, most of them are. It's all a game to each and everyone of them. You think they give a flying damn about gay marriage personnally? heck no, half of the catholics have had gay liasons already. And all of those ex-navy guys, come on, jeez. The only reason why any side cares is that their opponents are playing for the other side. It's all about money, power, control over others, and who gets the next blowjob from the newest intern.</sorry>

Unfortunatly, we all knew this was a fore gone conclusion. What was really "entertaining" was that the KKK came out support the ban. They were given a two block radius to spout thier nonsense. The anti -klan/prop 2 demonstrators were kept away, and were given no equal forum. The supporters of the ban tried to keep their distance from being associated with the klan, but we all know that they are one in the same. One pastor of a local church, said that he would not be associated with a bigoted, close minded organinzation. HAH! thats what your backwards snake worshiping church is. Anyway, we'll keep fighting the good fight here. and don't get me started on the smoking ban in clubs. reporting from Texas ( the new Kalifornia) - Maximillian Illiteratous
