kittie- hehe…I totally agree. Don’t let that lady get ya riled up so bad. It’s obvious that she can’t even see how racist her own words are. I think it’s funny that these people don’t seem to be able to walk and chew bubble gum at the same time.

All I’ve been hearing is, “you can’t blame anyone, that would take help away from those who need it!”

ummm, okay…? I mean, last I heard there were thousands of people who WEREN’T down there directly assisting, and instead were donating to charity organizations (myself included). Who’s to say that WE can’t hold these people accountable (and yes, it’s accountability, not blame).

Oh, were they instead talking about the Congress being distracted by this so-called “blame-game”? Well, it’s sorta funny that they bring it up. Frist didn’t even bother to put the Death Tax repeal on hold until yesterday, when he realized he’d be made to look like a rich asshole. Go figure.

Don’t worry yourself, self-righteous non “blame-gamers”. They won’t miss a beat, “blame-game” or no “blame-game.”

Weren't they woefully unprepared? There has been alot of money spent in and on New Orleans sonce 09/11 as it is the 35th largest city in the US. Shouldn't they (the stat and local gov'ts) bear some of the responsibility for its lack of preparation? Also, why is it that the race card is played in these situations? Now I'm hearing the NAACP and the Congressional Black Caucus calling for the NOLA victims (nothing about Mississippi and Alabama victims) to receive a settlement similiar to the 09/11 victims fund. Where do you suppose that money will come from? We'll all be shouldering this bill for decades in the form of pass-thoughs taxes etc. We have a HUGE problem no doubt but be more creative in offering a solution than taking aim at Bush and the administration.
