This made me laugh (and hooked me into reading the entire post), “I accidentally caught about 40 seconds of it on my car radio and was screaming “fuck you!!” repeatedly.” My partner insisted on listening to first part of the speech (we don’t have TV so listened on NPR) and the entire time we were yelling back. I had to turn it off because it was making me homicidal.

I thoroughly enjoyed your summation.
